Tuning up for the Spring Concert at St. Lawrence Martyr Church

GNBCS string students gathered at St. Lawrence Martyr Church for a Spring Concert,  completing the first year of the GNBCS Collaborative String Program sponsored by The New Bedford Symphony.   String Intructor  Bonnie Harlow conducted the ensemble which included a variety of pieces and demonstrated the incredible musical growth of these students in the past year.  See Gallery for more photos.

See Gallery for photos!  A collaborative exhibit of the art work of the five Catholic elementary schools of the Greater New Bedford area was on display in the Douglass Gallery at Gallery X, April 6 – 17th . The schools participating in the exhibit are St. James-St. Johns School, Holy Family-Holy Name School, and All Saints Catholic School, all in New Bedford,  and St. Joseph School in Fairhaven and St. Francis Xavier School in Acushnet. A reception was well attended on AHA Night Thursday, April 14th and even our Bishop enjoyed the exhibition!
